Reiki Therapy

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-just-above) energy practice aimed at promoting deep relaxation and supporting the body’s own capacity to de-stress and heal. It’s a quiet, low-pressure session — ideal for clients managing anxiety, overwhelm, or nervous system burnout, or anyone who wants bodywork without physical pressure at all.

Reiki is a Japanese energy practice rooted in the idea that a calm, balanced energy system supports the body’s natural ability to rest, heal, and reset. During a session, your practitioner uses light touch or holds their hands just above the body at a series of positions, allowing your nervous system to settle at its own pace. There’s no manipulation of muscle or tissue involved, which makes Reiki a good fit for clients who want the calming benefits of bodywork without any physical pressure at all. Many clients describe the experience as deeply restful, often drifting into a meditative state during the session.

Clients turn to Reiki for a wide range of reasons, and many notice a shift that lasts well beyond the session:

  • Promotes deep relaxation and a sense of calm
  • Helps ease anxiety, stress, and feelings of overwhelm
  • Supports the nervous system in shifting out of “fight or flight” mode
  • Encourages more restful, restorative sleep
  • Offers gentle support during recovery from illness, surgery, or a difficult season of life
  • Pairs well with massage as part of a larger wellness routine
  • Clients managing anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
  • Anyone recovering from illness, surgery, or a difficult stretch of life
  • Clients who want the benefits of touch therapy without deep pressure
  • Anyone looking to support better sleep and nervous system regulation

Available as a standalone session or paired with massage at both the Ahwatukee and West Valley locations.
